France: Pyrenäenweg GR10 (216)

The GR 10 is one of the most famous long-distance hiking trails in France. From Hendaye on the French Atlantic coast, you walk 933 km and approximately 50,000 meters of elevation along the French-Spanish border to Banyuls-sur-Mer on the Mediterranean Sea. Along the way you will experience an impressive landscape with picturesque villages, beautiful mountain lakes and some of the highest peaks of the Pyrenees.
The often very steep climbs and descents require good fitness. The guide provides a detailed description of the GR 10 with useful information about accommodation, catering and public transport. Accurate maps, elevation profiles and a GPS track make it easier to navigate while hiking.
