LAW Guide 5-2 Dutch Coastal Path Part 2: South Holland - North Holland

The Dutch Coastal Path part 2, South Holland/North Holland is a joint route of Nivon and Wandelnet along the Dutch coast. This has a lot to offer the hiker: rich nature, a lot of relief, many unpaved paths and little inconvenience from major roads. You walk from near the August Reitsmahuis in Hoek van Holland, via Banjaert and Het Zeehuis to Den Oever. On the other side of the Afsluitdijk, the path then connects to the Fries-Groningen Coastal Path. However, a branch to Den Helder has also been added. At the edge of the dunes you will pass beautiful country estates and flowering bulb fields. But you also walk on the boulevards of Katwijk and Egmond. In The Hague the route shows you a beautiful mix of city parks and palaces and in Haarlem you pass through the famous courtyards. Every now and then you take a trip to the beach and along the route the sea is always within reach.

The Dutch Coastal Path is the successor to the Hollands Kustpad, the merger of the Nivon Route, the Duin- en Polderpad and the Visserspad of the Wandelplatform-LAW.
