The Franconian Red Wine Route is a 79 km long hiking trail that runs through Churfranken in one go from Großwallstadt in the north to Bürgstadt in the south. Through various wine-growing communities, through vineyards, along panoramic paths and always close to the River Main, a magical world opens up. Created to give winegrowers the opportunity to present themselves and their wines in this breathtaking landscape, you should not only take a so-called Häcker calendar with you during the hike, but also enough time to enjoy it. Häckerwirtschaften are places to stop for a refreshment directly at the winegrower. The Franconian Red Wine Route is all about enjoyment and small moments of happiness.
