At the end of 2020 it was 50 years ago that the Bavarian Forest National Park was founded. Under the motto "Let nature be nature", the original forest wilderness, untouched by human hands, is slowly coming back to life here. The hiking guide presents 23 varied tours with many shortcuts and combination options through the wooded mountain and valley landscape of the Bavarian Forest in the rear of the National Park and in the Arber region. It goes high to panoramic mountain peaks such as Arber, Rachel or Lusen, through narrow gorges and past impressive waterfalls. For each trail there are tips on how to get there, where to stop for refreshments and how to hike with kids. Detailed maps, elevation profiles and GPS tracks complement the accurate route descriptions. With new route indications 2021 for the Arber area!
