Rother AVF Zillertal Alps 12.A 2012

Zillertal Alps - these wild and beautiful glacial mountains around the main Alpine ridge start hard east of the Brenner Pass and extend into Salzburg, the Krimmler Tauern. Rough rock and heavy ice form the center ridges, and the edges gradually become rounder and greener. The Zillertal of the same name is the main access route from the north and extends its 'reasons', such as finger against the main ridge of - itself, but it belongs to the Tux and the Kitzbühel Alps.
The Zillertal Alps, which are easily accessible from many sides, are still remote over long distances as always. The tourist centers on the edges do not change as much as the reservoirs in some inner valleys. In any case, the Zillertal offers a wealth of rewarding tours of all styles and difficulties; the numerous huts are connected by an excellently maintained road network level to each other, which makes an entire field crossing without ever entering a glacier. And anyone who wants to enter a glacier will be entirely responsible for this.
For this purpose, the 12th edition, the leader, was adapted to the new scheme of Alpine club leaders, proven for more than ten years now. the division into an 'Alpin' and 'Extrem' part is omitted - but is here - just like AVF Alpen Oetztal. Sun can be found - streamlined where possible and brought back to basics, - all information relevant to hikers, mountaineers, climbers and Eisgeher, as always in one volume.
